The CPM CRU-WEAR, an air-hardening tool steel strengthened by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process that delivers high wear resistance, excellent toughness, and an ultra-fine, extremely homogenous grain structure, is used to make the Stretch 2 XL’s blade. The PlainEdge blade boasts a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole for quick one-handed opening with either hand and is full-flat ground and satin finished for low-friction cutting performance. The knife’s ambidextrous design is enhanced by a four-position clip that allows for left- or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carrying.
