Pressure solenoid in Peugeot, Citroen or Renault has to be replaced every 40 000 – 50 000 km. If there is a source of metal shavings, the solenoid service life is not more than 2 000 – 3 000 km. Normally, solenoid EPC pressure gets stuck when the engine is cold. Error does not appear after 5 km drive, but it is in the initial stage of solenoid wear.
